
1: UNUM
UNUM – is a platform/app created to help content creators create visually pleasing content. There are many features in the app such as the ability to pre-arrange and rearrange your photographs before you post them to Instagram, schedule your Instagram posts, pre-write and draft your posts, and analyze your Instagram data. Here is a sample of my feed. The last 5 posts are scheduled to be posted to my Instagram this week.
2: Unfold
Unfold – is an application used to curate well-designed Instagram Stories. In the application you can create simple designed collages and text-over images and videos.
3: MailChimp
MailChimp – the best way to leverage your Instagram following is to keep in constant contact with them through marketing tools such as newsletters. Newsletters are a great way to share exciting news , with your audience, and direct traffic to your blog. Mailchimp is powerful marketing tool/application where you can create marketing ads, landing pages for your website, and newsletters. You can also use Mailchimp to readily store your contacts which you can customize via lists.
Here is a sample of the newsletter I send to my subscribers weekly. The visuals were created in Adobe Illustrator and formatted and delivered to my audience using Mailchimp.

4: Canva
Canva – is an application/site easily named “Photoshop for Dummies” where you can create beautiful and professional-looking designs. Canva can be used to create blog post templates, social media graphics, marketing ads, flyers for events, logos, and more. Here’s a design I created using Canva:

5: Lightroom
Lightroom – is a mobile/desktop application used for image manipulation and editing. Lightroom is best known for the user’s ability to create customized edits for their photos known as presets. Presets are the best way to create consistency in your images. Asiyami Gold is best known for creating and using presets.
6: CutStory
CutStory – have you created a video that is way too long to upload to insta-stories without it cutting off? Cutstory is an application that easily converts full-length videos into 15-second intervals that can be uploaded to Instagram.
7: Tailwind
Tailwind – when is the best time for me to post to Instagram? If you’ve asked yourself this question then Tailwind is your answer. Tailwind analyzes your Instagram data and creates a personalized calendar with suggested times for better engagement! Tailwind is a great tool to use if you are struggling with consistency. Here are two suggested times from my personalized calendar. Every Tuesday, I post at either 12:30pm or 4:19pm.
8: Breather
Breather – have you struggled finding locations to shoot content? Breather is a gem! I’ve used this app for over a year to book spaces to host events and shoot content. Breather is such an easy-to-use application with perks such as: ability to cancel reservation up to 2 hours before your reservation starts.
