The Start of NYFW

#NYFW is in full swing and everything from running to catch shows to seeing eye-catching streetstyle has been exhilarating. I’m so glad I put aside my pride and decided to step back out on the fashion scene this year!

OutFit Deets:

Coat: H&M (4 years old)

Fur Scarf: Fabric Shop

Backpack: Zara

Pants: Zara

Shoes: Kenneth Cole w/ Accessory from Aldo (here)

My first show for NYFW was Malan Breton, a Taiwanese-American designer who specializes in making women “shine wherever they go”; well that is his tag line! His A/W 2017 show was full of shine in the form of vinyl, richly-colored jacquards, plush velvets, and tiered satin dresses. Aside from the mouth-dropping pieces, the choreography, music selection, and cinematics were well executed. Check out what I’m talking about below:

Pamella Roland was next up on the list ! I have one word to describe her Fall 18 collection and that is: OPULENCE. See what I mean:

Both designers have great garments but I’m favoring Malan Breton more!
