Trusting God in Tough Times

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is: believe God when your circumstances tell you otherwise. It’s hard to believe God will come through for you when everything around you says He won’t. It’s hard to believe that you will be successful when you are drowning in debt. It’s hard to believe you will be healed, when the doctors just told you the test came back positive. It’s hard to believe you will find true love when the last three guys you dated broke your heart. It’s hard.

Your situations don’t define God and they certainly don’t define you! Click To Tweet

I know it’s hard but your circumstances to do not define your God. God does not change based on the situations you find yourself in. Regardless of your health condition, God is still a healer. Regardless of your financial circumstances, God is still a provider! Regardless of your relationship status, God is still near to the brokenhearted. Your situations don’t define God and they certainly don’t define you!

We can wallow in the troubles of life or we can pick ourselves up and start to really believe God. We must stand on His word and His promises.

I refuse to give in because what I currently see doesn’t line up with what I hope for! I will not allow the enemy to deceive me into thinking where I am is where I am staying. I serve a God who owns all the house and lands, who formed this world into being with one word, and who is more that able to come through for me. I serve a God that is more powerful than any man on this earth will ever be! God is an on-time God! God is a sovereign God! God is a powerful God. I will not let my circumstances determine what I believe and know about the God I serve.

If what you want has not happened yet, it can be because it’s not the time and/or it’s not the will of God for your life. If you want the God thing, if you want a life that glorifies your father, if you want Godly success; wait on God and trust His will.

I don’t want any premature blessings nor do I want anything that is out of God’s will for my life.

Waiting is hard; trusting God is hard but sis you are not in this alone. I too have been waiting on a few promises from God! Regardless of how long it takes, God will never renege on His promises to you!

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalm 27:14.
